The Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin is organizing the Culture Day on 11 June 2019. The main goal of the event is “a presentation of the role and importance of modern cultural studies for the development of a modern and open society”.

The Maria Curie-Sklodowska University has prepared six thematic panels, including lectures, debates and workshops on computer animation, as part of the Cultural Day celebrations.

The organizers also prepared meetings with creators and animators of culture as well as graduates of Cultural Studies at UMCS. The event will include artistic events prepared by students. The culmination of the Culture Day will be thematic walks in the Lublin Open-air Museum and on the Jewish Lublin route.
