Students of the Medical University of Lublin won the Nationwide Medical Simulation Competition, which took place at the Medical Simulation Center of the Medical University of Gdańsk. The home team took the fourth place.

Teams from the 10 medical schools had to solve tasks consisting of clinical situations: pre-hospital intervention in acute heart attack, processing with myocardial infarction and cardiac arrest and respiratory cardiopulmonary resuscitation, management of pulmonary edema and asthma, acceptance of labor and surgical treatment of wounds. Teams were evaluated by referees having experience in international competitions.

The first place was taken by the team from the Medical University of Lublin, the second by Jagiellonian University – Collegium Medicum in Krakow, and the third by Medical University in Poznań. A total of eighty-nine participants took part in the competition.
