The “Alter Idem” Association of Disabled Students and the Disabled People’s Service Team of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin are organizing on 24 May 2019 “Day of students and PhD students with disabilities”.

The event is accompanied by a nationwide, interdisciplinary scientific conference with aim to exchange ideas, views and scientific experiences regarding the broadly understood functioning of people with disabilities at universities.

The topics will include a wide range of problems that students with disabilities have to deal with in everyday life. Three thematic blocks are planned: legal problems of people with disabilities, psychosocial problems and professional activation of people with disabilities.
