For the third time, the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS) is the coordinator and originator of the EU Green Week in Lublin under the slogan “Walk of the elements: water, earth, air”.
The European Green Week, which will run from 30 May to 5 June 2022, is an opportunity for debate and reflection on the European environmental policy. This year it focuses on the European Green Deal – the EU’s strategy of sustainable and transformative growth for a resource-efficient and climate-neutral Europe by 2050. The motto of this year’s Green Week is “EU Green Deal – make it real!”.
The Lublin organizers are inviting to the lectures, cinema screenings, workshops, competitions, open-air meetings and exhibitions addressed to various audiences.
Individual events are prepared by scientists from UMCS, the Catholic University of Lublin, the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow and employees of the Center for the Meeting of Cultures in Lublin.
