The Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, the Medical University of Lublin, as well as the Lublin University of Technology and the Catholic University of Lublin have signed a declaration of accession to the Lublin Digital Union. This document assumes joint activities of these universities for digitization and computerization including the teaching process or the development of innovative solutions, e.g. in medicine, transport and the environment.

This is the next stage of integration of Lublin’s academic society,- said Przemysław Czarnek, Minister of Education and Science, during the signing ceremony.

-The minimum version is to improve the digitization and computerization of all Lublin universities belonging to the Lublin Digital Union, which is to improve teaching, science and administrative services. The maximum version that I dream of is creating from Lublin one of several, if not the most important centers of artificial intelligence in Poland – added minister Czarnek.
