On 13-16 February, the International Educational Fair “Education and Career” and “Tomorrow Conference 2020” were held in Minsk, Belarus. During the fair, Lublin universities presented their offer at a joint exhibition stand of the city’s support program “Study in Lublin” for foreign students.
Nearly 8 thousand young people from Belarus study in Poland. This is the second largest group of foreigners after Ukrainians – said Waldemar Siwiński, president of the Perspektywy Foundation during the event.
Over the past three years, the number of students from Belarus in Poland has doubled. In 2019, 7.4 thousand Belarussian students studied in Poland, this year they are slightly fewer this year. However, this is a much smaller group than students from Ukraine, who in 2019 were almost 40,000. In total, about 80,000 foreigners study in Poland.
