The Łukasiewicz – Polish Center for Technology Development (PORT), together with Wrocław Airport, have launched a drive-thru collection point at the Wrocław airport. The tests are performed using the Real Time-qPCR method, one of the most proven and recommended by WHO genetic diagnostic techniques for coronavirus.

The test allows to verify whether the SARS-CoV-2 virus is present in the patient’s body. The results are issued up to 48 hours.

– Unusual situations require an unconventional approach. Today we combine qualified employees with experience gained during the pandemic and modern laboratory infrastructure of Łukasiewicz – PORT with the possibilities offered by the Wrocław airport. We are looking forward to this cooperation, because thanks to it all interested people including Wrocław residents, inhabitants of the region will gain the possibility of reliable, fast and safe diagnostics for coronavirus – says Andrzej Dybczyński, director of Łukasiewicz – PORT.
