The Łukasiewicz Research Network is launching the Technology Assessment Center (COT), which will conduct research on the advantages, risks and effects of implementing new technologies and recommend the most favorable directions of technological development.

COT is being established within the Orgmasz Institute of Organization and Management in the Łukasiewicz Research Network, which is in the process of being transformed into the Łukasiewicz – Technology Assessment Institute.

In the near future, the employees of the new unit will deal with the topics as: possibility of producing components in Poland for the Polish brand of electric cars Izera, hydrogen economy, closed circulation of raw materials in the economy, modular construction.

Piotr Dardziński, president of the Łukasiewicz Research Network noted, that COT will serve mainly other scientific institutions, especially those operating within Łukasiewicz Net, but also the private sector and public administration.
