The development of cooperation between the Jagiellonian University and Malaysian universities in the field of European studies, medicine and chemistry was the subject of talks between Chitry Devi Ramiah, Ambassador of Malaysia in Poland and Prof. Wojciech Nowak, the rector of the Jagiellonian University.

The talks concerned higher education in Poland and Malaysia, fields of study conducted by universities from both countries, as well as students and staff mobility.

Chitra Devi Ramiah took over the office of the Malaysian Ambassador to Poland on April 17, 2018. She majored from social sciences, international relations and public administration. Formerly, she served as an ambassador in East Timor and as a Consul General in India.
