For the tenth time the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin, is holding a biochemical competition for secondary school pupils.

This is the only initiative of this kind organized in Poland. The competition resembles a written exam, during which students have the opportunity to present various areas of biochemistry. This is a very extensive field of knowledge and the questions may concern, for example, clinical biochemistry, enzymology or biochemistry used with elements of biotechnology and genetic engineering.

The event, organized by the Department of Biochemistry UMCS, students and PhD students of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology UMCS, will take place on April 5, 2019 at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology UMCS at ul. Akademicka 19 in Lublin.
