The Faculty of Geosciences and Spatial Management together with the Artistic Department of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin for the twelfth time are organizing the International Earth Day connected to the National Geographic Day.

The World Earth Day, taking place on April 26, 2019, is a worldwide campaign to promote ecological attitudes by events organized in spring in many places. The organizers prepared dozens of attractions for the viewers. Thanks to the lecture “Whose trace is this?”, the participants will learn what traces are left by both animals and plants. The topics also include lakes and their greatest secrets, natural medicines and cosmetics as well as ordinary / unusual H2O.
