The Maritime University of Technology in Szczecin has signed a cooperation agreement with Grupo Stier, which includes the exchange of knowledge and experience and support in the development of new courses, training and accreditation.

The agreement between the representatives of business and education provides for, among other things: exchange of knowledge and experience; two-way support in the development of new courses, trainings and accreditations; raising the competencies of employees; cooperation with students in the creation of training and courses; and the creation of joint research and development projects.

The Stier Group has been in business since 1994 and is the undisputed specialist in the maritime industry, with a particular focus on offshore and training. CEO Ida Stier boasts a wealth of experience and knowledge. Her thriving business in the industry has earned her the title of one of the 100 most influential women in the maritime industry, and the company she runs is the only maritime training centre in the Canary Islands.
