Marshall Marek Nawara’s Foundation has launched the 3rd competition for the best doctoral, master’s and bachelor’s theses in the Malopolska Region concerning the system and activities of local government, as well as presenting the main characters of the local government.

The dissertations may also be focused on specific topics on the cooperation of local governments and universities, for example, problems and issues commissioned by local governments, important in the practice of the functioning of these institutions.

The purpose of the competition is to reward people who make a significant intellectual contribution to developing Poland as a state that respects the principle of subsidiarity in relation to local government.

Diploma theses from 2017, 2018, 2019 can be submitted to the competition. The deadline for submitting papers is November 25, 2019.

The competition is launched under the auspices of the Lesser Poland Voivode.
