Magdalena Orłowska from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk won the competition for the best thesis in the competition organized by the Polish Chinese Business Council in cooperation with the Polish branch of HSBC France and Haitong Bank. The winner was awarded an annual scholarship at a selected university in China.

Students of Master’s and bachelor’s programs submitted their theses from academic centers in Gdańsk, Toruń, Poznań, Katowice, Kraków and Warsaw. According to the opinion of the members of the Competition Jury the level of their works this year was at an exceptionally high level.

Magdalena Orłowska was awarded for her master’s thesis “The influence of business etiquette principles on the development of Polish-Chinese economic cooperation. Comparative analysis of Polish and Chinese business etiquette.” The competition was held with support of the Ministry of Development, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Poland.
