Until September 15, 2022, the best diploma theses can be submitted in the Competition of the Mayor of Lublin City for. The organizers accept bachelor’s, master’s, engineering and doctoral theses, defended at any university and study. The condition is that the subject of the work should concern the development of Lublin or its metropolitan area.

The aim of the competition is to increase the students’ interest in issues related to the local development, mainly in the economic, social, cultural and environmental context, and to encourage students to take up this subject in their research work. The competition is organized as part of the European Capital of Youth project.

There are two competition categories: one for authors of bachelor’s, master’s and engineering theses, and the other for authors of doctoral theses. In each of them, the main prize of PLN 6,000 and three distinctions, each in the amount of 2,000 PLN are awarded.
