“We are already ready both with the education programme and with the recruitment method. I hope that next academic year we will have the first students in doctoral studies”, informed Prof. Maciej Słodki, rector of the Mazovian Academy in Płock, during the opening ceremony of the School.

A special letter on this occasion was addressed to the participants of the event by the Minister of Education and Science, Przemysław Czarnek.

“I am extremely pleased that the Płock university, which prides itself on its high achievements in conducting research activities and disseminating knowledge – decided to broaden its educational offer by educating doctoral students”, Minister Czarnek wrote in the letter.

The letter was read out by Sejm deputy Anna Cicholska, who said: ‘During the sessions of the Sejm, we often talk about the needs that exist in the city. As MPs from the Plock area, we are proud that the medical faculty and the Doctoral School will start at the Mazovia Academy already this year’.
