Inventions of scientists of the University of Kazimierz Wielki in Bydgoszcz won three medals and a distinction at the International Warsaw Invention Show (IWIS 2019).
The silver medal was won by the group: Katarzyna Kazimierska-Drobny, Mariusz Kaczmarek, Tomasz Fąs, Joanna Nowak, Karol Pawełkowski from the mechatronics department for Theranostatic system supporting people with limb edema.
The bronze medal and distinction for the best invention for Developing of technology for creating polyurethane breast prosthesesbased on 3D scanning was won by Zbigniew Szczepański, Marek Macko, Joanna Nowak from the mechatronics department and Dariusz Mikołajewski from the computer science institute.
The bronze medal for Hand exoskeleton was received by the team: Izabela Rojek, Dariusz Mikołajewski from the Institute of Computer Science, Jakub Kopowski from the psychology department and Marek Macko from the mechatronics department
At IWIS, inventors from 25 countries presented their innovations that became a review of new technical achievements.
