28.05.2019

Students in the field of Emergency Medicine at the University of Medical Sciences in Wroclaw as the second in Poland launched a modern educational tool providing training opportunities in virtual reality. The possibilities of training paramedics virtually are now unlimited.

Students begin training on a standard simulator and later start simulation wearing VR goggles. They must not only make the right decisions, but also perform the necessary activities recorded by the controllers. Each simulation is based on a predetermined scenario, created and supervised by the teacher, who later discusses the results with the students.

The University of Medical Sciences in Wroclaw is the second university in Poland and one of the first in Europe using virtual reality technology to train students of emergency medical services – informs the university.
