The Medical University of Bialystok has received PLN 295.280 from the National Agency for Academic Exchange for internationalization of scientific cooperation with foreign research organizations. The project will start on October 1, 2019 and will last until September 30, 2020.

The program is implemented as part of the project “International scholarship exchange of PhD students and academic staff” of the National Agency for Academic Exchange under the Operational Program Knowledge Education Development co-financed from the European Social Fund.

The aim of the Program is to improve the competences of PhD students and academic staff from Poland and abroad, including students from outside the European Union, through international scholarship exchange. A total of 16 people will benefit from the project, including 13 PhD students and 3 representatives of the academic staff. The foreign institutions cooperating in the project include: Mayo Clinic (USA), University of Greifswald (Germany), University of Turku (Finland) and Swiss Institute of Allergy and Asthma Research (Switzerland).
