The Artificial Intelligence Center of the Medical University of Bialystok (UMB) has been awarded within the “Vision of Health 2019” contest. The prizes were awarded in 8 categories.

The jury appreciated the UMB vision regarding the development of artificial intelligence in medicine. On behalf of the Białystok university, the award was received by Prof. Marcin Moniuszko, Vice-Rector for Science.

The main prize was awarded in the category Visionary of the year. Białystok’s university also triumphed in the following categories: visionary of the system, visionary of science, visionary solutions in medicine, visionary personality, visionary social worker, visionary educational and preventive program, and a vision in Polish medicine.

The “Vision of Health 2019” contest was organized by the weekly journal “Do Rzeczy” with support of the Ministry of Health.
