The Medical University of Gdańsk was rated in this year’s Best Global Universities Rankings. In the latest classification, it took 9th place in Poland, as the second medical university and the highest-ranked university in the region Pomerania.

The Medical University of Gdańsk was ranked 425 in Europe and 1083 in the world – among 1678 universities from 86 countries. The specialty rankings were also assessed. The university of Gdańsk took 128th place in the oncology and 414 in clinical medicine.

US News Best Global Universities Rankings is an overview of higher education institutions worldwide, prepared by the U.S. media company News & World Report. To assess the rank of a university, the authors take into account 13 factors, including global and regional research reputation, the total number of cited scientific papers, or presentations at international conferences.
