The Medical University of Gdańsk will again host the regional stage of the Brain Bee International Competition of Neurobiological Knowledge. 59 students from 29 secondary schools will participate in the competition – on March 7 at Collegium Biomedicum.
Participants of the competition will have to solve a test consisting of 50 questions in Polish and 10 questions in English. Ten percent of people with the best test results from each region will go to the next stage.
The Brain Bee International Neurobiological Knowledge Contest is a scientific initiative whose originator and founder is Dr Norbert Myslinski from the University of Maryland. The aim of the competition is to motivate young people to study and then continue their careers in the areas of basic and clinical sciences in the field of broadly defined neuroscience. The Brain Bee motto is “We Build Better Brains to Fight Brain Disorders”.
