The Public Health Department of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice and the city of Siemianowice Śląskie are implementing the project “Better start into the future”.
The subject of the project is the development of key competences necessary in the labor market of the pupils of grades 1-3 in three secondary schools in Siemianowice. The target group is 160 pupils and 10 teachers. Support and didactic classes in biology, chemistry, physics, math and English are planned. Pupils will also be supported with additional classes of self-presentation as well as group and individual career counseling.
The project implementers also want to organize training for teachers in the field of working with a student with special educational needs. Pupils will take part in thematic workshops for students participating in the project – in cooperation with the Silesian Medical University in Katowice.
