The Medical University of Poznań together with clinical hospitals will establish the University Center for Clinical Research Support. The project will be implemented in cooperation with the Urszula Jaworska Foundation responsible for communication activities for patients.
The Clinical Trial Support Centers will be model centers in Poland, ensuring the highest quality of clinical trials. The Poznań center will be built in the immediate vicinity of the Central Integrated Teaching Hospital. The Medical Research Agency allocated over PLN 8.6 million to its creation.
– We believe that in the summer of 2021, we will put into use a modern center, designed according to the best standards, which will take into account the needs and expectations of patients. One of the goals of the project is to increase the number of conducted researches, and thus increase the availability of modern medical technologies – says the rector of the Medical University, Prof. Andrzej Tykarski.
