The project of the Medical University of Silesia “Integrated School Programs SUM 2” received more than PLN 10.1 million funding from the National Center for Research and Development as part of the competition for “Integrated University Programs – Path I”.
The project assumes increasing the competences of teaching staff in the scope of educating students according to the direction of Health Risk Management with knowledge and skills allowing health risk assessment and programming of preventive care and participation of teaching staff in courses of statistical programs, databases, specialized software and specialist English.
Thanks to co-financing, the Faculty of Public Health will be provided with a computer lab with equipment and software for analyzing environmental and health data. The money will also allow to launch the University Repository of Medical Cases and the system of handling scientific conclusions and the office document circulation.
