The Silesian Medical University in Katowice will carry out the project “Silesian Digital Medical Platform eCareMed – Telemedicine and exploration of medical data”. The project was created in response to the needs of patients in the field of early diagnostics in oncology, cardiology and neurology.
The platform is to use information and communication technologies in the area of e-health. Services will be directed at improving safety and comfort in treating patients. The eCare Med will enable comprehensive diagnostics and individually selected therapy, taking into account the specificity of the disease – using teleconsultation between medical entities.
The partners of the project are Silesian Center for Heart Diseases in Zabrze, Oncology Center – Institute of Maria Sklodowska-Curie in Gliwice, Beskid Center of Oncology – Municipal Hospital in Bielsko-Biała and the University Clinical Center and Upper Silesian Medical Center of the Medical University in Katowice.
