Due to the spread of the coronavirus, the lectures for students, all conferences and events organized and co-organized by the WUM were canceled until May 15, 2020 by the decision of the rector of the Medical University of Warsaw (WUM).

Due to the ordinance of the Rector of the Medical University of Warsaw, business trips outside Poland, the arrivals of foreign guests, as well as the admission of new people to student dormitories and visits of these houses by external guests were suspended.

Restrictions on clinical classes for students and the obligation to minimize direct contacts of university employees have been also introduced.

The staff, students and doctoral students of the Medical University of Warsaw were obliged to immediately inform the university about suspected COVID-19 virus illness.
