In the latest University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP) – the global ranking of universities 2020/2021, the Medical University of Wrocław was classified as the second Polish medical university. Among all Polish universities, the university took 8th position.

In the global ranking, the Medical University of Wrocław was ranked 820 – 14 positions higher than last year. In this year’s ranking, more than 4,000 universities, including 56 from Poland were assessed. Among the medical universities, the highest position in the country was taken by the Medical University of Warsaw.

The URAP ranking is created on the basis of scientific publications – their number and quality, the assessment also takes into account international scientific cooperation. It is made without the participation of universities in the ranking.
