The University of Medical Sciences in Wroclaw intensifies its cooperation with Västmanland Hospital Västerås in Sweden. The main assumptions of the agreement signed by both parties are developing studies and exchange of experience.

Polish and Swedish delegations discussed new fields of cooperation in psychiatry, oncology, vascular surgery or anesthesiology. Visitors from Sweden were interested in the scientific activity of the Clinic of Psychiatry dealing in non-pharmacological way with autism, depression, Alzheimer’s disease, Asperger syndrome and seeking new forms of treatment of disorders.

After signing the agreement Vice-Rector for Science of the University Prof. Piotr Ponikowski emphasized the necessity of working out its practical aspects and selecting leaders interested in joint research, projects or exchange of experience.
