Medicine, law and psychology are the most popular majors for studies at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. In the new academic year, the university offers students over a hundred studies.
The system recorded 19 302 registrations for 6,000 places in BA studies. The most popular field was medicine, with almost 4,000. candidates. The second place was taken by law with 911 applications and psychology – 823 applications. Veterinary medicine (603), finance and accounting (491), English studies (479), pharmacy (470), physiotherapy (461) and management (430) were also of great interest.
The greatest number of applicants applied for medicine – almost 20 people per place. 11 people applied for a place in English philology, 10 people in psychology. Also popular were: veterinary medicine (8), Japanese studies (7), logistics (6), communication and psychology in business (6) and computer science (5).
