The first seminar of representatives of doctoral schools of Polish technical universities and colleges was held on 12-13 January 2023 at the Kraków University of Technology.

The two-day meeting of doctoral school managers such as deans, directors and managers was devoted to the experiences so far in the operation of the new model of doctoral training in Poland, especially the 4th year of education in doctoral schools and their upcoming evaluation.

The event was attended by the Chair of the Commission for the Evaluation of Science, Prof. Błażej Skoczeń, representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science and representatives of nearly 30 doctoral schools from all over Poland.

Most of the participants of the first meeting were representatives of doctoral schools of leading Polish technical universities, associated in the Conference of Rectors of Polish Technical Universities and institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
