The Rector of Lublin University of Technology (PL), Prof Zbigniew Pater, and the Rector of the State Academy of Applied Sciences in Chełm, Prof Arkadiusz Tofil, have signed a cooperation agreement in which the universities join forces to initiate and implement joint scientific and teaching projects. This is intended to allow the potential of both universities to be increased.

The cooperation is to be carried out in the implementation of joint teaching, research and development projects, commercialisation of their results and transfer to the economy. Postgraduate studies, courses, training and other forms of education are also planned. 

The agreement also covers the provision of teaching aids, laboratory facilities and equipment for student education. An important area of cooperation is the organisation of scientific conferences, symposia, lectures, workshops and seminars.
