On 29 September 2023, a new academic year was ceremoniously inaugurated at the University of Life Sciences in Lublin. During the ceremony, Minister of Education and Science Przemysław Czarnek announced the creation of a consortium of natural science universities and dairy companies and handed over a cheque worth more than PLN 7 million for the further development of the university.

“In order to strengthen this direct contact between business and science, a consortium project was launched, to create “networking” for the potential of all our natural science universities, with the agreement of all rectors and the most important companies in the dairy processing industry in Poland. With gigantic financial outlays, direct and permanent cooperation between these companies and universities will take place”, said Minister Przemysław Czarnek.

The head of the Ministry of Education and Science announced that the consortium is investing in modern technological lines, direct internships and contacts of both students in companies and employees of dairies in universities, as well as investing in the promotion of products that will be produced thanks to this direct cooperation.
