The Minister of Education and Science, Przemysław Czarnek, wrote a letter to the rectors of universities in Poland informing them about the repeal of the ordinance temporarily limiting the activity of the university. The head of the Ministry of Science also indicated that in the new academic year, the Ministry of Education and Science (MEiN), as a rule, envisages returning to full-time education.
Changes in this area will take into account the dynamics of COVID-19 incidence and the government’s decisions. The head of MEiN emphasized that in the case of an increase of the COVID-19 , it would be possible to reintroduce hybrid education, and in extreme cases, also to return to remote education.
In his letter, Minister Przemysław Czarnek expressed his hope that thanks to the vaccination campaign it would be possible to avoid a further limitation of the university’s activities in the future. He added that the Ministry of Education and Science, in cooperation with the community of students and doctoral students, will promote information and vaccination.
