The Minister of Education and Science has approved the establishment of a medical faculty at the Bydgoszcz University of Technology (PB). The Faculty of Medicine will be established within the structures of the university later this year.

For the purposes of training, the City of Bydgoszcz will provide the university with the Multispeciality City Hospital. Students will also learn and practice at the MSWiA Hospital, the 10th Military Clinical Hospital with Polyclinic, the Oncology Centre and the Provincial Observational and Infectious Diseases Hospital in Bydgoszcz, as well as the Provincial Hospital for the Nervous and Mentally Ill in Świecie and the Regional Specialist Hospital in Grudziądz.

“Over the years, our university has always responded to the needs of Bydgoszcz and the region. This is also the case with medicine. The consent for the establishment of a medical faculty completes an 8-month period of work related to securing a clinical base, assembling experienced medical staff and raising funds”, says Prof. Marek Adamski, rector of the PB.
