On the occasion of the Polish Science Day on February 19, Przemysław Czarnek, the Minister of Education and Science granted awards to Polish researchers for significant scientific and overall achievements.

Awards of the Minister of Education and Science are granted to the most outstanding academic teachers and scientists in their fields.

They are awarded in 5 categories – for significant achievements in the scientific, didactic, implementation, organizational activities and overall achievements.

In 2020, scholars submitted 124 applications for awards to the ministry, of which 111 were qualified for the evaluation by the advisory team.

The Minister of Education and Science decided to grant 74 awards, including 57 individual and 17 team awards.
