The Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University (UKSW) in Warsaw has received PLN 30 million for activities related to the running of medical studies. The symbolic cheque was handed over to the Rector of UKSW, Rev. Prof. Ryszard Czekalski, by the Minister of Health, Dr Adam Niedzielski.
”We want to build a medical simulation centre. This is a huge project, hence the help and support of the Minister of Health is so necessary. This investment is crucial for the University and our medicine. We would like to build the centre in a modular way, and its first part will be Collegium Anatomicum’, said the Rector of UKSW.
Minister Niedzielski said that UKSW had an excellent scientific and personnel base and faculties which formed the background for the Faculty of Medicine. ”I am glad that it has come into being, and I hope that the aid of PLN 30 million for the construction of the first module of the medical simulation centre and the Anatomicum Collegium will contribute to the planned investment starting as soon as possible”, he added.
