In the academic year 2018/2019, 19 students of the Silesian University of Technology received scholarships from the Minister of Science and Higher Education for outstanding achievements. The most scholarships were received by mathematics students.

The laureates of ministerial scholarships are: Karolina Kęsik, Aleksandra Krawiec, Kamil Książek, Oleksandra Osadcha and Alicja Winnicka – students of mathematics; Agata Raczyńska and Maria Bzówka -students of biotechnology; Robert Nawrath – student of electronics and telecommunications; Tomasz Wasiak and Grzegorz Stando – students of chemical technology; Anna Kuziel, Małgorzata Skorupa and Daria Więcławska – students of technology and chemical engineering; Adrian Czajkowski and Mateusz Kochel – students of the power industry; Nikolina Poranek – a student of environmental engineering; Marta Zaborowska – a student of nanotechnology and material processes technology, and Mateusz Jezusek and Krystian Szewczyński – students of transport.

The scholarship amounts to 15 thousand PLN.
