In February, Ministry of Development will start the pilot project ‘School for an innovator’. 20 selected schools will develop new solutions to shape and raise pro-innovation competences in children. The result of the pilot project will be recommendations regarding pro-innovative competences for the entire education system.

In each school, the seventh grade pupils as well as its teachers and staff will be educated by experts. The support received in the project will allow conducting an intensive program that develops pro-innovation competences, which can be later extended to other classes.

– If we want to create a high culture of innovation in Poland, we should begin our activities already at the primary schools, because they are places where children should meet with an approach open to creative and innovative thinking. That is why in an open process we chose schools to become a modern teaching laboratory – says Minister of Development Jadwiga Emilewicz.
