Soon, Discovery, Imagination and Activity Zones (SOWA) will be established in 32 locations. Ministry of Education and Science started application process to select their best location. SOWA is an initiative of the Minister of Education and Science (MEiN) and the Copernicus Science Center in Warsaw, which will help build commitment to science and its social understanding. 

The application process is organized by MEiN and conducted by the Copernicus Science Center. Interested institutions can submit their application until June 24, 2021. The results will be announced on September 6, 2021.

The organizers are inviting institutions with appropriate competences (dealing with educational and cultural activities) and an appropriate space, which could make interactive science-related exhibitions available to the public and to conduct educational programs for the local community in partnership with the Copernicus Science Center.

Each SOWA will be equipped free of charge with an exhibition (15-18 exhibits), kits for conducting educational workshops and a package of educational programs prepared by the Copernicus Science Center.
