Within the Initiative to Support the Strive for Excellence, 10 public vocational universities can benefit from financial support. The Ministry of Education and Science (MEiN) will allocate PLN 10 million to improving the quality of education in courses with a practical profile. The support may be used by higher schools that did not receive funding under the Teaching Excellence Initiative in 2021.
The Ministry of Science emphasizes, that the assumptions of the project were created on the basis of the analysis of the effects of the Teaching Excellence Initiative and noticing the positive effects of this support on the quality of the university’s work, especially in the period of organizational and educational changes forced by the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the growing epidemic threat, the challenge for public vocational universities was to continue education in the new conditions, especially to conduct training in courses with a practical profile – emphasizes the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. The experiences from that period became an impulse to develop new, innovative solutions of both educational and organizational issues. The aim of the Excellence Support Initiative is to support these changes.
