The 16th Science Popularizer competition has been organized by the Nauka w Polsce portal and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. The aim of the competition is to honor people, teams and institutional entities that popularize science among Poles.

Applications can be submitted until October 26, 2020. The jury chaired by Prof. Michał Kleiber will choose the winner of the Main Prize. There will also be awards in the following categories: Scientist, Animator, Team, Institution and Media.

The website Nauka w Polsce emphasized, that the Popularizer of Science is the oldest and most prestigious competition in Poland, in which scholars, media people, institutions and community activists, who are passionate about sharing knowledge and revealing the secrets of modern science in an accessible way, have been awarded since 2005,
