The Ministry of Science has launched a special search engine, which enables cross-sectional verification of the offers of doctoral schools. It uses the regularly updated database of the information system on science and higher education POL-on.
From the 2019/20 academic year, doctoral schools replaced the existing doctoral studies. They teach students in at least two disciplines, which ensures a creative and interdisciplinary approach to research.
With the help of the search engine, students can access the following data categories: name of the doctoral school, date of establishment of the doctoral school, disciplines in which the doctoral school conducts education, entity running the doctoral school, entities co-running the doctoral school, current status of the doctoral school, as well as the number of semesters provided for in educational program.
The system was created in partnership with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Information Processing Center – National Research Institute.
