Wojciech Maksymowicz, deputy minister of science and higher education, signed a cooperation agreement with the rector of the Institute of Human Sciences in Vienna, Prof. Shalini Randeria. On its basis, in the years 2020-2022, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education will transfer funds for scholarship programs for Polish scientists and mentoring workshops for applicants for European Research Council grants.

Deputy Minister Maksymowicz emphasized, that the intention of the Ministry of Science is to popularize the projects of the Vienna Institute of Human Sciences in Poland.

-That is why we decided to increase our financial participation in this idea, having in mind our young and ambitious Polish scientists. There are many scientific and research units in Poland (especially the Łukasiewicz Research Network), enterprises with R&D potential. I am sure that they can offer a lot to the institute – said deputy minister Maksymowicz.
