Przemysław Czarnek, the minister of education and science, attended the ceremony of signing the Foundation Act for the construction of the Świętokrzyskie Laboratory Campus of the Central Office of Measures in Kielce. 

The document was signed by: Minister of Education and Science, Przemysław Czarnek, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Development, Labor and Technology – Jarosław Gowin and representatives of consortium members: President of the Central Office of Measures – Jacek Semaniak, Rector of the Kielce University of Technology – Zbigniew Koruba; representatives of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship: the Świętokrzyskie Voivode – Zbigniew Koniusz, the Marshal of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship – Andrzej Bętkowski, the Mayor of the City of Kielce – Bogdan Wenta and the president of the board of the construction company ANNA-BUD – Artur Bławat.

In the first stage, seven buildings with a total area of ​​13,826 m² will be erected.

Research and measurement facilities will be equipped with specialized devices and research and development apparatus. The modern equipment will enable to conduct basic research, industrial research and experimental development works. The research results will be used to disseminate the undertaken activities through knowledge transfer, didactics, publications, open databases and software.
