In 2019, a full list of awarded scientific publications will be published. The Ministry of Science and Higher Education is working on a list of annexes, which is to reduce so-called “predatory publications”, which publish scientist books regardless of quality.

The researcher will receive a greater number of points needed for further career and scientific development for using official publishing houses from the list. Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education Jarosław Gowin assured that the list of publications is being prepared by experts, not employees of the Ministry.

Minister Gowin added that the aim of the list is to limit the publication of “pseudoscientific works”.
