A walk-thru mobile test center for coronavirus was opened in Gdańsk. This is the first point of this type in Poland prepared for the common collection of swabs for testing for COVID-19.

The point is equipped with the MediMod diagnostic module, developed by the VIVIA NEXT company and transferred to the University Clinical Center. The module is a self-sufficient research unit, so it can be set up anywhere. Its design allows for providing inside several zones and a storage for material collection, limiting the contact of the swab taker with the patients to the necessary minimum.

It has a high-quality mechanical ventilation system with a dedicated system of division into negative pressure and overpressure zones with HEPA filters. The technology of implementation allows for any change in the function of the facility at a later date and its repeated use, as well as displacement to a new place.
