A state-of-the-art Automation and Robotics Laboratory has been opened at the University of Kalisz’s Technical Faculty. This is a landmark that will enable the university to provide even more comprehensive and effective education in future technologies.
“In the laboratory, we will be able to explore the programming of industrial robots, design pick & place applications and simulate real industrial processes. This is an amazing opportunity for our students to gain practical skills that will be applied in practice and are crucial in today’s job market”, says the head of the Electrical Engineering Department at the Technical Faculty, Dr Eng. Dominik Wojtaszczyk.
The opening of the laboratory was the occasion for the signing of a cooperation agreement between the University of Kalisz and the Astor company, which equipped the unit with educational robots. The signatories of the agreement promise joint training, internships and apprenticeships for students to further broaden their professional horizons.
