Faculty of Polish Studies at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, in cooperation with the Students ‘Scientific Society of Students’ Linguistics at the Jagiellonian University, organizes for the fourth time the Month of Mother Language, which will last from February 21 to March 21, 2019.

As part of this undertaking, a number of events related to the Polish language will take place, including the 5th Krakow Dictation, which will take place on March 16, 2019. It will be conducted in two categories – open and junior (for people up to 15 years of age).

In addition, there will be a fourth national competition for advertising for primary schools and a chat competition, as well as linguistic workshops conducted by students at schools in the Małopolska Region. Another accompanying event will be the 21st National Rhetoric Competition.
