More scientists of Wrocław University of Science and Technology to join the Academy of Young Scientists and Artists

Three scientists of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology will join the Academy of Young Scientists and Artists. It is an advisory body to the Mayor of Wrocław for science, as well as a unit that conducts educational projects and supports interdisciplinary research.

The Academy has been operating since 2010. Its members can carry out joint projects at the interface of various fields of science and art. They can also organise lectures and workshops conducted by themselves or by invited eminent scientists and popularisers of science and innovation. Members of the Academy may form interdisciplinary research teams and conduct scientific projects among themselves.

Membership of the Academy is open to individuals up to the age of 35 with outstanding scientific achievements. This year, the Academy will be joined by Dr Eng. Agnieszka Uryga from the Faculty of Fundamental Technological Problems and two scientists from the Faculty of Civil Engineering: Dr Eng. Paweł Noszczyk and Adrian Chajec.
